1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the BBH Research Environment platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Access & Timed Sessions

The Platform offers time-limited access to protected research content. Upon successful payment, you are granted a single non-transferable 60-minute reading session.

Session time begins upon entering the reading environment and counts down regardless of active use, page refreshes, or temporary disconnections. No extensions or pauses are available during the MVP phase.

Unused session time is non-refundable once a session has been started.

4. Payments & Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize the applicable charge to your payment method.

Due to the nature of digital content access, all sales are final once a session has been activated. Refunds will not be issued for sessions that have been started.

If you experience a technical failure preventing access before a session begins, please contact support within 24 hours with details of the issue.

5. Intellectual Property

All content available on the Platform, including the research document, AI-generated responses, design elements, and platform code, is the exclusive intellectual property of Big Bang Hoax and its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Platform without prior written permission.

The Platform's copy protection measures (disabled right-click, print restrictions, download restrictions) are in place to protect intellectual property and must not be circumvented.

6. AI Companion Usage

The AI companion (Guru) is provided as a reading aid and is trained exclusively on the BBH research document. Responses are informational and do not constitute professional, scientific, or legal advice.

You agree not to attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or misuse the AI companion. Any attempt to extract content outside the scope of the document or to abuse the AI system may result in account suspension.

7. Community Guidelines

The community module allows registered users to post topics, react to content, and participate in discussion. You agree to engage respectfully and in good faith.

You must not post content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, obscene, or that infringes on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure; (c) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content; (d) share account credentials with third parties; or (e) interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform and its content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BBH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction.
